3M Hardhat Welding Shield

3M L-705 Hardhat Shell with Welding Shield and Wide View Faceshield meets ANSI requirements for industrial protective headgear. The faceshield protects from impacts, splash, particles or molten metal and hot solids. It has an assigned protection factor of 25 x PEL when attached to a PAPR or SAR.

The shell helmet is intended to be used in applications in which some head protection is required. It can also be used with 3M PAPR or Supplied Air Respirator Systems. Does not protect filter ultraviolet or infrared light associated with welding, cutting, or burning.
