Butyl Adhesive Installation Tape

Manufacturers recommends using butyl tape when installing speed bumps to minimize shifting when cars drive over them. Butyl tar on a roll attached to release paper gives you easy handling. Use to minimize shifting when installing speed bumps and wheel stops with spikes. Also fills voids in asphalt area around the base of the speed bump to stabilize unit when cars drive over it. In very hot asphalt locations, the butyl tar can become absorbed by the asphalt, requiring reapplication every 6 months. Available in rolls of the following sizes: 8ft, 12ft or 18ft.
