Construction Warning (CW) Signs: Two-Direction Large Arrow Sign (CW1-7)

A temporary traffic control zone is an area of a highway where road user conditions are changed because of a work zone or an incident through the use of temporary traffic control devices, police, or other authorized officials.

Installed on the far side of a T-intersection in line with, and at approximately a right angle to, approaching traffic. The Two-Direction Large Arrow sign shall not be used where there is no change in the direction of travel such as at the beginnings and ends of medians or at center piers. The Two-Direction Large Arrow sign should be visible for a sufficient distance to provide the road user with adequate time to react to the intersection configuration.
