State of Hawaii Pavement Marker Classification

712.40 Pavement Markers. The markers shall have the shape, dimensions and tolerances shown in the contract. The markers shall be of uniform composition and free from surface irregularities, cracks, checks, chipping and other physical damages interfering with appearance or application.

Type A: Non-reflective white marker, round
Type B: Two-way white reflective marker
Type C: Red/clear reflective marker
Type CL: Red/clear reflective marker
Type D: Two-way yellow reflective marker
Type DB: Two-way blue reflective marker
Type DL: Two-way yellow reflective marker
Type G: One-way white reflective marker
