8174 Series Rope Grabs

8174 Series rope grabs are to be used with independent lifelines. A 3/4in or 5/8in synthetic lifeline with a minimum tensile strength of 5,000 pounds must be secured to an anchorage point independent of the worker platform.

Miller Rope Grabs move easily up and down vertical rope lifelines to provide continuous fall protection, and lock instantly when activated by a fall.

Available individually or with attached shock-absorbing lanyards; rope grabs operate in self-tracing or manual modes.
