The belt is designed with an eight inch elastic back panel and 3 inch wide elastic V-shaped side support. The shape of the belt lends to it's ergonomic value. The velcro material front panel provides a quickly adjustable, secure fit. The belt provides a comfortable, no-pinch, lumbar support and wide, removeable, elastic suspenders. Correct sizing is important for comfortable fit.

Many aspects of a job must be addressed when creating your company's ergonomic program. The four elements of a successful ergonomics program are:

  1. Worksite Analysis
  2. Hazard Prevention and Control
  3. Medical Management
  4. Training and Education

Working together, these four components identify jobs that may contain hazardous risks. Personal protective equipment always provides an excellent method of combating these hazards.

OSHA refers to the "General Duty Clause", Section 5 of the OSHA Act, in consideration of ergonomic hazards, it essentially states that employers furnish employees a place of employment free from hazards likely to cause death or serious physical harm.

The Economy Back Belt provides workers with 8inches of flexible support.
