Good leaders are made, not born; and it is our duty to make them. Annual Motto, 2003
We recognize the dedication of our staff every month and every year with Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year awards. Employees are nominated by their supervisors, and all nominations are then voted upon by committee. Criteria used to establish an Employee of the Month range from attendance to personal appearance to dedication, and always customer service.
Employee of the Year is determined by the same factors, as well as exhibited commitment to excellence. The Employee of the Year also shows the willingness to learn, assist, and further not only their own knowledge of safety, but to teach others as well. It is this self-motivated drive toward bettering one's self and others around them which makes a Leader.
Awarded employees receive cash prizes, on-site parking privileges, and his or her name added to a perpetual plaque on display within the Safety Systems Hawaii store as well as recognition upon this page. They also earn the unexpressed thanks and respect of their fellow employees--plus the appreciation from you, our customers.
For the year, 2010
Who will it be?
Is this you? Maybe!
Check back as employees are awarded for their excellence!
Rocky expresses a positive attitude around customers as well as his fellow employees every day. His eagerness to learn and teach has driven him toward earning several safety certifications, including First Aid Instructor and Respiratory Trainer; earning the respect of his colleagues and peers. In addition, his exemplary attendance record and willingness to go over and beyond the customer's needs has proven to be an inspiration to others within our store. Rocky continues to be the best that he can be, and for this we salute him as our Employee of the Year. Congratulations Rocky!
Kerry's attitude, dilligence and knowledge continues to exemplify what customer service is all about here at Safety Systems Hawaii. We thank you for your motivation and drive!
Lenie came to us in 2005 to process orders and assist customers in the Brandy Signs office. Since then, Lenie has proven her worth time and time over by showing her dedication to knowledge and excellence in the office. She is always ready to answer questions, and if she doesn't know the answer, makes the effort to learn the product to help educate not only customers, but her fellow employees. Dependable and cheerful, Lenie's presence within the office has not only given customers a viable resource, but has helped to keep Brandy Signs growing through the years. Thank you Lenie for such a wonderfully well done job!
Remy has been with us for 16 years, and in that time has migrated from Order Entry to Human Resources. Her experience has helped new employees adapt to our unique atmosphere for years as she is one of the first people we all meet upon being hired. Always greeting everyone with a "Hello!" and a smile, Remy's cheerfulness exudes to everyone around her. Congratulations Remy! No one else deserves this award more than you do!
